Other than talking about meaningful topics that would benefit another. Egyptians have set everything aside for the toxic pleasure of making fun of a public persona. Mohanad Kojak, a 22-year-old fashion designer was mocked heavily on social media this week. A photo of him was tossed around online and no one could keep their thoughts to themselves. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. Other than the fact that it’s morally wrong, it’s a quote that should be taken by heart. As it seems, sometimes the people you think you hate on the first day end up becoming your best friends and time passes. The internet is full of trolls. However, if someone has the ability to see a photo and comment, then they can easily do a quick Google search and indulge in knowledge about anything they want.

The fashion designer was featured in the latest season of Project Runway, has over 57 thousand followers on Instagram, created 7 fashion collections and dresses famous Egyptian celebrities. And he’s only 22 years old.

People need to start learning rather than just spreading hate and costumed jealousy around. Kojak, other fashion designers, and creative minds, in general, receive positive and negative comments on a daily basis. It’s very well known in this industry. Yet it does have its extremes. And in this case, this trending topic is one of them.

Moreover, if no one can do as they please (when it’s not hurting anyone) then why does it matter? If wearing stripped jeans is your thing, then no one should judge. So rather that pressing your fingers and sending negative vibes, learn and understand your own talent and try and make something out of it. It takes hard work, but it will all be worth it in the end. And always remember that people who judge don’t really matter.
