It’s that dreaded time of the year again. Winter. A time of daily and constant struggles. A time where even the basic and most trivial of human rights such as going to the bathroom, are extremely hard, if not painful. How do some people like winter at all? It’s challenging to just muster the non-existent energy of having to flip the blanket over and start the day. And not to mention the hundreds of different and difficult decisions we have to make throughout the day.
So below we represent you 8 common challenges winter haters face on a daily basis.
It begins with trying to get out of bed every morning to leave the only source of warmth and comfort and start a very cold day.
And getting in the shower is a whole new story. Do I really need to explain that one? It really is one of the hardest things to do in winter.
And what do you do when you’re really enjoying the hot water, but you’re almost done with your shower? Makes you wish Christopher Walken could show up and hand you his magic remote control to fast-forward the next 10 minutes to find yourself all dry and dressed up.
And just when you think that you have done the hardest part, you find yourself struggling with an even harder one, and that is getting into your very cold pants.
Then comes the battle of what to wear! You want to make sure you feel warm, but at the same time you want to look stylish, and you wonder how do other people do it!
Raining is so beautiful and therapeutic, until you find yourself stuck in traffic because you live in a country that is never prepared for winter’s rain – EVER!
Ordering food is no longer enjoyable anymore. It just comes cold, EVERY TIME! Thank God for cold pizza!
Even coffee, you either drink it right away or just pour it down the sink because it goes cold in literally seconds.
Pretty much no good ever comes out of winter.
