When You Give Life The Steering Wheel

With just four letters, hope carries out a strong and powerful motivation. Its essence alone can shake mountains. It can build your sense of motivation, find inspiration in random things, help you find the light at the end of the tunnel, and guide you when you reach a dead end.

When times get rough, and you find yourself waking up one morning; debating what are you even getting up for. Would it really matter if I got dressed and went where I need to be? Would my presence make a great deal of difference anyway?

But hey, it’s pretty normal to think that way. There’s no shame in it because you’re not alone.

Everyone goes through these life-changing phases. And they’re quoted ‘life-changing’ because that’s the one question that started many people’s eye-opening transformation in their lives.

Look at all those now ‘made it’ celebrities or entrepreneurs these days. Just listening to their story, how their career took off, the reasons behind it all, generally all starts with the introduction of ‘I woke up one morning and asked myself, what am I doing with my life?’

Other than the annoying question of where do you see yourself in five years’ time. Well, the truth of the matter is, you don’t know. No one really does. Including me, I personally would answer that question with ‘I’ll just see where life would take me’.

Some might disagree with the matter, proclaiming that you have to be the captain of the boat rather than just letting the wind guide you wherever it may take you. But one some occasions, that’s kind of a simple and effective direction to take it. And it can take you places. Literally and figuratively.

As when keeping your hand off the wheel, for just a moment, and gathering up the needed will (which may take some learning to get accustomed to) that destiny will serve you right (with a side of cheesy-fries) no matter what. It really can help lift a few bricks off your back. Along with setting you on the right track.

All you need is hope. Regardless of what you’re going through these days. Never underestimate the power of simply believing the destiny will take you to great places.

Just hope.
